3D Printing

Have something you'd like to produce?

DeadEye Design offers low-cost, fast turnaround options for 3D printing your models! Prints are available in a range of colors and material types; if none available suit your needs, new filaments can be ordered for a small upcharge (new resins will unfortunately require a significantly larger upcharge). At present time, the following materials and colors are available:

  • Polylactic Acid (PLA): Black, White, Blue, Silver

    • Cheap, colorful, and available with unique additives such as iron, wood, and UV-sensitive material

  • Polyethylene Terepthalate, Glycol-Modified (PETG): Black, White, Blue, Translucent

    • Temperature-resilient, durable, and considered food-safe, but more expensive and not recyclable

  • Photopolymer Resins: Black, Grey, Translucent, Biocompatible (Surgical Guide)

    • Offers very high resolution (at very high cost).

To get an estimate on your print, upload the 3D model file (preferably .STL or .STEP) using the Dropbox link below. Please follow your file submission with an email to make@dedconcepts - or a message from our Contact page - detailing your name, contact information, preferred color/material, and quantity of parts for evaluation. We will get back to you with a quote and estimated delivery date as soon as possible. If you do not see a quick response, please check your spam folder - small business domains can be incorrectly flagged as suspicious!

Thanks to open-source designers and developers, there are many resources online that provide 3D models for public use and alteration. Listed below are some helpful websites:

However, the licensing on these products is often somewhat restrictive: while DeadEye Design can charge for the production of these products, they are usually not available for commercial resale (in essence, you are paying us for the material and printer time, but you yourself cannot turn around and sell the completed print). It is asked that you read the licensing on the print you would like created before submitting it, or send us the link to the design so we may evaluate the licensing if you are unsure. DeadEye Design is not liable for your failure to comply with these binding legal contracts.
