In case you were curious:

William Armstrong,
Owner + Operator
Mechanical Engineer
Designer & Draftsman
If you've managed to navigate your way this far, some kind of explanation on who I am and what I'm doing is probably in order. My name is Will, and I am a mechanical engineer with a focus on additive manufacturing and design; being able to call myself an inventor is the big end-game for me. I completed my studies locally at the University of Dayton, and am currently working a day job as a process engineer in industrial-scale metal additive manufacturing.

I founded DeadEye Design with a few goals in mind:
-
to provide a resource for creators to test out ideas and prototype their designs
-
to supply local people and businesses with unique, reliable products and replacement parts
-
to create a strong foundation for a fully-fledged design and prototyping firm, eventually growing into a maker-space
However, all of these things fall under one core value: a love of creation. At the end of the day, no matter the project, I am able to be a part of the manifestation of an idea into reality; that is something I wouldn't trade for the world. So, thank you for the opportunity to help, and welcome. This is DeadEye Design.
The Good Kind of Disclaimer:
As you may have noticed, DeadEye Design is a very small, young company. This has some benefits: if you have an idea, it won't cost you to talk about it. Write in, submit a drawing, or arrange a meeting: no charges will be incurred until actual work begins on your project. All concepts shared with DeadEye Design are your intellectual property, and will be treated as such: any supplied Non-Disclosure Agreements supplied will be signed before we begin work; and, even if we aren't capable of moving forward with your concept, your idea will be protected. So go ahead, reach out about that idea you've been holding onto. The risk of finding out is negligible; the risk of missing out is not.
